This resource can easily be differentiated so that you can meet the needs of your students. It can be used during a whole-group spiral review, or in a small group for reinforcing subitizing.

Once your students learn the routine, it will be an activity that they will want to do every day!

Each subitizing PPT comes with 3 different versions.

  • Manual (no timed slides; move to the next slide by clicking)
  • Timed (each slide is timed, designed to allow students to ‘see’ the items, and then to provide think time)
  • Timed-Stop (the timer on each slide is shortened, as students get familiar with the concept. The presentation stops on the answer slide so that you can have a class discussion if you choose)
