Product Details

Sometimes it can be hard to find number sense routines that are engaging for our littlest learners! Students will be able to practice and apply their knowledge with this set of February-themed number sense routines!

This set of 6 subitizing slides will build their confidence and it is something that can be easily differentiated, depending upon what your students need.

Help your students to move forward in building their number sense by applying what they have learned!

Here’s what you will receive today:

  • Subitizing with Candy Hearts
  • Subitizing with Hearts (Ten Frames to Ten)
  • Subitizing with Hearts (Ten Frames to Twenty)
  • Subitizing with Chocolates
  • Subitizing with Flowers
  • Subitizing with Presidential Stars

This resource is bound to help your students practice and master subitizing in no time! It can easily be differentiated so that you can meet the needs of your students. It can be used during a whole-group spiral review, or in a small group for reinforcing subitizing.

Each subitizing PPT comes with 3 different versions.

  • Manual (no timed slides; move to the next slide by clicking)
  • Timed (each slide is timed, designed to allow students to ‘see’ the items, and then to provide think time)
  • Timed-Stop (the timer on each slide is shortened, as students get familiar with the concept. The presentation stops on the answer slide so that you can have a class discussion if you choose)

WHAT TEACHERS JUST LIKE YOU SAY ABOUT THIS RESOURCE!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nicole says “Such a fun way to practice subitizing! Sometimes it's good to just turn this on and "take a break" but sneak in the fact they're still practicing a skill!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Heather says “Subitizing is so important. I am always looking for more ways for my students to stay engaged. My students loved this subitizing resource and the holiday theme!”
