Each word family contains 5 practice pages, giving your students many practice opportunities to apply their knowledge of sound-spelling relationships. The set of 5 pages is the same so that your students will know exactly what to do!
- Introduction to word family - students will trace the word family and color all pictures belonging to that family.
- Read & Sort - Students will read each word in the word family, and then glue it under the correct picture, and write the word.
- Read, Write, and Color - Students will read the word, write the word, and then color the picture that matches the word.
- Tap it, Build it, Write it - Students look at the picture, tap out the word, cut & paste the letter to build the word, and then write the word.
- Word Family Sort - Students will look at the pictures and words at the bottom of the page, then sort each to the correct column.
